10 of us went to Cherating from 24Sep2004 (Friday) to 26Sep2004 (Sunday).

Reached Kuantan town before noon. Went to the Riverfront and had lunch near Parkson Ria. After lunch, we went to Taman Gelora a beautiful park, which is beside the sea. Then we proceeded to check-in to Cherating Bay Resort, which is about 45minutes form Kuantan. In the evening, we drove to Chukai, which is located in kemaman. We had dinner there and the favourite dish is 'stuffed crab.'After diner, I met up with my mum and my brother. Then we went back to our apartment. We slept for a while, until midnight, when we went to a place near Club Med, hoping to see the giant turtles waited for an hour, seeing no turtles, we went back to our apartment.

The next day, we went to Batu Hitam where there were black rocks on the seashore. Then we proceeded to Teluk. There were many restaurants and souveniors shops. We had lunch in one of the restaurants, where we met up with Andrew from Kuantan Church. Then we went to the Batik Shop where each one of us bought something back. Then we went back to our apartment . The sisters and one of the brothers went to the Cherating Beach to play frisbees. Later we had dinner in Beserah with tow brothers form the Kuantan Church.

Checked out form Cherating Bay Resort at 7.00am. Reached Kuantan Church at 7.45am. We were reminded of God's love for us. The moring message was on 2 Timothy 2. After the church service, we went to a shop to biy the driend food. Then we had lunch and then we departed for K.L. Reached home at about 3.00pm. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves.
Later, I went to Happy Garden to celebrate the Mooncake Festival with my family & relatives. |
